premium social wall (Tag other person)
Be great to be able to tag other members. Maybe an option at the bottom, near image and GIF, and when you start typing a name, it pulls up everyone with that name who has an account on the app? This should be able to be turned on and off in the dashboard under premium social wall settings.
Please update this so the contact information sits under a lovely button that says 'Contact', like the people plugin. Right now, it says contact info, but it looks like a title, rather than something you would automatically try pressing. It avoids me having to having to do this..... lol
Allow back button to step back on webview
When in webview, it would be a game changer (for us at least) to allow the back button to move a step back within the webview rather than go back to the previous plugin/back to home. To ensure the user doesn't get "stuck" you could even place a Home/menu button on the right to allow the user to completely escape the webview. This is probably one of the biggest items we get feedback on.
Community area/portal/message board/
I think one urgent step is needed to be taken, that would be a simple setup and a quick win for Buildfire, to mitigate some of the recent support issues. The introduction of some kind of community area or message board. Something moderated where clients can share ideas and support each other but also request support. This will do a few things - Lessen the pressure on BF staff for issues that could be resolved by the community and frees up time to focus on more important support requests. It also introduces another route for new clients really struggling. Improve supplier/client relationships - you could even "promote" certain clients to champions and give those more experienced clients prioritised support as you can be more sure than not that those issues raised are complex and in need of urgent support. Allows issues that are affecting multiple clients to be addressed in one place, again further reducing wasted time.
Time Release Content- feature
I'm having an issue with this feature I noticed when going through the categories if I click on one of the features within a category and hit the back button it jumps back to the very first category. Is it possible to get that fixed? Ideally, when I go back I would like to stay in the same category. Example: If I click on "things to do" then attractions if I go back it takes me to all the way back to food. I want to stay in my "things to do" category.
Linking using default browser from webview
It is technically possible with a "normal" native app to enable links to the devices default browser from webviews and it would be great to see this functionality in Buildfire apps. For example - when processing payments or member sign ups from within a webview, they could then link to the default browser to comply with app store rules. A great seamless way to implement this would be by using a css class that could be added into the link. I would have thought this would be a relatively quick development as the functionality is well documented but could mean a huge benefit to those building apps that link to external websites for functionality via webviews.
Need a process for urgent downtime
Our ios version has had a freezing issue for a month now and we just aren't feeling the urgency in getting it fixed. I suggest you have a better process for handling urgent issues like this.
Media Player Music Links Not Working
I'm having issues getting the playlist feature to work. I noticed you all used to have a soundcloud plug in. Is that no longer avail? If not, any tips on how to get the music player to work properly would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Be able to navigate through the app by swiping
We've gotten feedback from our users that it would be nice to be able to, at minimum, go back in the app by swiping left.
