Need a process for urgent downtime
Our ios version has had a freezing issue for a month now and we just aren't feeling the urgency in getting it fixed. I suggest you have a better process for handling urgent issues like this.
Seminar/Lecture Notes Plugin Updates
The Seminar/Lecture Notes plugin is in great need of updates... 1) Functionally it is highly buggy and hard to use. Constantly flashing "saved" as you type is an awful user experience. 2) Often crashes when inputting large notes. 3) Makes it nearly impossible to see the content in the plugin while adding or editing the notes. 4) Editing notes is nearly impossible... trying to move "back up" to fix a note input error, etc., nearly always fails. ---- It needs to be replaced or massively refreshed a) In-line note taking fields would be much better. b) Fill-in-the-blank note taking would be very helpful. c) Exportable notes for the user would be VERY helpful. d) Exportable notes with the App content would be even better.
Choosing plugins to display Nav bar
Please add the ability to show/hide the nav bar on specific plugins.
Allow back button to step back on webview
When in webview, it would be a game changer (for us at least) to allow the back button to move a step back within the webview rather than go back to the previous plugin/back to home. To ensure the user doesn't get "stuck" you could even place a Home/menu button on the right to allow the user to completely escape the webview. This is probably one of the biggest items we get feedback on.
Linking using default browser from webview
It is technically possible with a "normal" native app to enable links to the devices default browser from webviews and it would be great to see this functionality in Buildfire apps. For example - when processing payments or member sign ups from within a webview, they could then link to the default browser to comply with app store rules. A great seamless way to implement this would be by using a css class that could be added into the link. I would have thought this would be a relatively quick development as the functionality is well documented but could mean a huge benefit to those building apps that link to external websites for functionality via webviews.
Include name and size (pixels) in the image library. Finding the image with the right name and size is now a bit of a guess.
Be able to navigate through the app by swiping
We've gotten feedback from our users that it would be nice to be able to, at minimum, go back in the app by swiping left.
Improve Media Library
We Migrated Feedback Platforms It would be nice to have a way to organize the media library. When I add a photo, it quickly disappears in a wave of other photos, making it difficult to find. It would be nice to have an organization system setup to segment what photos belong to what. by Bryan
Search images feature needed
when adding images/graphics that have been uploaded, we have to scroll endlessly to find the most recently added. It is a dramatic process to find an image with a graphic heavy app
A customer provided the below regarding the WebView. "The built in apple feature allows forward and back and refresh controls if enabled- my devs said can you check with your devs to see if they can enable this- it would be a quick patch to Web View Plugin- under its settings it would be a checkbox to enable for users and it would have the back arrow + a forward and backhttps: //developer.apple.com/design/human-interface-guidelines/ios/views/web-views/ Here is instructions to enable it- this would be a highly valuable feature enhancement for anyone that uses the plugin and about 1 hour of labor- https://developer.apple.com/documentation/webkit/wkwebview "
