Primary Social Feed
We have one main social wall/feed. We also have several topic specific social walls... lets call them what they are "discussion forums" in our app. It would be great to be able to select one social wall as our prime wall and be able to connect the other social walls to that prime social wall so that posts in the sub feeds automatically post to the general feed. This way a great topic can intrigue users who may never go into a specific topic feed easy ability to click on the post and see it in the topic feed and possibly join the conversation that they may not have even known existed.
Social Wall Notifications
I have multiple social walls on my app with varying categories. Is there any way for the notifications to actually direct you to the post that was just commented on or created? I end up having to sift through the folders to see what comment was made and where.
Push Notification/Message History
Currently, when a push notification is sent to an individual or a number of specific users, the push message is not saved anywhere within the mobile app. Would love a way for users to be able to go back and view previous push notification messages. Currently, the only way a push notification is saved is when it is sent to a group. However, we do not use that method to send our push notifications.
Is an inbox feature in the works? Or does one already exist? It would be really convenient to see private message threads there. Also, the same with notifications.
Unread notifications label for groups/categories
We have many groups for our push notifications. It would be great to have a feature that labels or highlights the groups with unread notifications.
My users are mostly 50s up, so going to notifications and then selecting view history, for an unread notification is a bit much. A simple fix would be for the unread notifications to show up on the first screen, and all read notifications would move to view history. Also, a way to delete notifications. Clean up things a bit. Tks.
premium social wall (Tag other person)
Be great to be able to tag other members. Maybe an option at the bottom, near image and GIF, and when you start typing a name, it pulls up everyone with that name who has an account on the app? This should be able to be turned on and off in the dashboard under premium social wall settings.
Community area/portal/message board/
I think one urgent step is needed to be taken, that would be a simple setup and a quick win for Buildfire, to mitigate some of the recent support issues. The introduction of some kind of community area or message board. Something moderated where clients can share ideas and support each other but also request support. This will do a few things - Lessen the pressure on BF staff for issues that could be resolved by the community and frees up time to focus on more important support requests. It also introduces another route for new clients really struggling. Improve supplier/client relationships - you could even "promote" certain clients to champions and give those more experienced clients prioritised support as you can be more sure than not that those issues raised are complex and in need of urgent support. Allows issues that are affecting multiple clients to be addressed in one place, again further reducing wasted time.
We did some push notifications to test them and now we can't delete them. They have content we don't want the users to see so we find it useful to have the option to delete those notifications you don't want to keep or those with spelling mistakes or wrong information. As we use the program for events, we'd also like an easier way o send push notifications. like a message platform inside the app for admins. Thanks!!
